Windows xp: How to turn off CD autorun

There are many solutions to this problem:
Solution 1:
Hold Shift while inserting a CD and autorun is bypassed
Solution 2:
- Start Windows Explorer
- Right click on CD
- Click properties
- Go to tab "Autoplay"
- Choose "Take no action" for each type of CD
Solution 3:
- Click "Start button"
- Click "Run..."
- Type "Regedit"
- Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ Cdrom"
- Double click "Autorun" value
- Type 0 (zero)
Solution 4:
- Click start button
- Click "Run..."
- Type "gpedit.msc"
- Go to Computer configuration | Administrative templates | System
- Find the entry for "Turn autoplay off"
- Modify
