How to use your computer on daily basis with user accounts:
There are two user account types in windows xp. Computer Administrator and limited. Administrator account allows the user to change all computer settings.
Computer administrator:
- Install programs and hardware
- Make system wide changes
- Access and read all non-private files
- Create and delete user accounts
- Change other peoples accounts
- Change your own account type and name
- Change your own picture
- Create, change or remove your own password
Limited account:
- Change your own picture
- Create, change or remove your own password
If you log in as a computer administrator, not only you but your installed programs are allowed to change computer settings.
