Windows xp: How to turn off “My recent documents”

Instructions:
- Click "Start" button
- Click "Run..."
- Type "regedit" + Enter
- Navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer"
- Double click on Norecentdocshistory
(If it is missing, create a new binary value. Right click in right pane and click New | Binary Value) - Change the value to 01,00,00,00
- Double click Norecentdocsmenu
- Change the value to 01,00,00,00
Restart windows to apply settings
