Excel 2007: How to not display the formula in the formula bar

Instructions:
- Select the cell or cell range you want to hide

- Go to tab "Home"
- Click "Format"

- Click "Format Cells"

- Click "Protection" tab
- Click checkbox "Hidden"

If this doesnt work, make sure you have done the following:
Protect worksheet and contents of locked cells
- Go to tab "Home"
- Click "Format"

- Click "Protect sheet"

- Enable "Protect worksheet and contents of locked cells"
