Problem: Your folder customizations are incorrect

Solution: Increase the number of folders windows xp remembers each folders view settings. In default windows xp remembers up to 400 folders. Service pack 2 increases this number to 5000.

Instructions on how to increase the number of rembered folders to maximum 8000:

1. Press "Start" button
2. Click "Run..."
3. Type "regedit" + Enter
4. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Shell
5. Right click on BagMRU Size and click change
6. Type the desired value (up to 8000)
7. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ ShellNoRoam
8. Right click on BagMRU Size and click change
9. Type the desired value (up to 8000)
