Instructions:

1. Click "Start" button
2. Click "Run..."
3. Type "Regedit" and then press enter
4. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ FileAssociation \
5. Double click "AddRemoveApps"
6. Type ";" and then the program executable you want to exclude from most frequently used programs on start menu
   For example: ;Excel.exe

To disable most frequently used programs on start menu:

1. Right click on "start" button
2. Click "Properties"
3. Click "Customize..."
4. Select zero number of programs to show on start menu
5. Click ok!
