Instructions:

1. Right click on desktop background
2. Click "Properties"
3. Click tab "Desktop"
4. Click button "Customize desktop"
5. Click box to enable Internet Explorer on desktop

or

1. Click "Start" button
2. Click "Run..."
3. Type "regedit" + press enter
4. Navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies\Explorer"
5. Create or modify "NoInternetIcon" (String value)
6. Set value to "0"
7. "1" to enable
