Windows xp: How to turn off windows animation

Instructions:
- Click "Start" button
- Click "Control Panel"
- Click "System"
- Click "Advanced" tab
- Click "Settings" button in performance area
- Click "Visual effects" tab
- Click to enable/disable "Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing"
- Click ok!

- Click "Start" button
- Click "Run..."
- Type "regedit" + press enter
- Navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Desktop \ WindowMetrics"
- Create or modify "MinAnimate" (String value)
0 = Disabled
1 = Enabled - Exit registry
Restart computer
