Instructions:

  1. Click "Start" button
  2. Click "Run..."
  3. Type "regedit" + press enter
  4. Single user: Navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Desktop
    All users: Navigate to "HKEY_USERS \ .DEFAULT \ Control Panel \ Desktop
  5. Create or modify "AutoEndTasks" (string value)
    0 = Disabled
    1 = Enabled
  6. Exit registry
