In an earlier article i wrote about how to fix low volume while playing divx/xvid, this article will solve the problem with low volume spdif.
- Install AC3 filter.

- Go to tab "Main"
- Enable spdif
- Change preset to loud
- Close ac3 filter
- Press "Start" button
- Click "Run..."
- Type "regedit" + press enterBackup Regedit
- Find "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Media Center \ Service \ Video"
- Change "PreferredMPEG2AudioDecoder" to
{A753A1EC-973E-4718-AF8E-A3F554D45C44}
(with brackets) (AC3 filter audioDecoder) - Exit registry
Restart computer
