The account is only hidden in windows xp welcome screen, it is visible everywhere else.

Instructions:

Click "Start" button
Click "Run..."
Type "Regedit" + press enter
Navigate to " HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ WindowsNT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon \ SpecialAccounts \ UserList"
Create or modify "Account to be hidden" (DWORD value)
0 = Account hidden
1 = Account visible
Exit registry

Restart computer
