A good practice working with large lists is to split different actions within the excel sheets. One sheet contains the whole list without any changes and so on. Another sheet contains calculations, formulas. The third sheet is a presentation of the results.Within the calcualtion and formula sheet it might be handy to shift the vertical and horizontal orientation of some cells (values). This is where the TRANSPOSE formula does the job.

Important! TRANSPOSE must be entered as an array formula in a range that has the same number of rows and columns, respectively, as an array has columns and rows. To do this, select the cells containing the transpose formula. Press Control + SHIFT + ENTER.
