5 useful commands:

Ipconfig - Windows Ip configuration, your ip adress, Subnet mask and default gateway.

Driverquery - A list of all computer drivers.

Netstat - Shows all active internet connections

Ping - a computer network tool used to test whether a particular host is reachable across an IP network

How to start the command prompt:

  1. Press Start button
  2. Select "All programs"
  3. Select "Accessories"
  4. Press "Command prompt"

  2. Press "Run.."
  3. Type cmd
  4. Press Enter
