How to make "My computer" show the folder list in default:

  1. Double click "My computer"
  2. Click "Tools menu"
  3. Click "Options"
  4. Go to tab "File types"
  5. Select "(NONE) Folder"

  6. Click "Advanced"
  7. Select "explore"

  8. Click "Set Default"
