The SUMX2PY2 function calculates the sum of the sum of squares of corresponding values in two arrays.

The sum of the sum of squares is a common procedure in many statistical calculations.

Formula in cell F3:

=SUMX2MY2(B3:B5, D3:D5)

4^2 + 3^2 + 4^2 = 41

2^2 + 3^2 + 4^2 = 29

41 + 29 = 70
