Dynamic Gantt charts in excel 2007
Today I am going to show you how to create a dynamic Gantt chart in excel 2007.

A Gantt chart helps you plan and track various elements of a project. A dynamic chart automatically adds new values to the chart. Let´s start!
Instructions:
Create a table
Create a stacked chart
- Select table
- Go to "Insert" tab
- Click "Bar chart" button and then click "Stacked bar" button.
Setting up the stacked chart
- Right click a blue bar

- Click "Format Data Series..."
- Click "Fill"
- Click "No Fill"
- Click OK!

- Right click on chart
- Click "Select Data"

- Select "Finish Date"
- Click "Remove" button
- Click OK!
Format x-axis
- Right click on x axis dates

- Click "Format axis.."

- Change "Minimum:" and "Major unit:" to fixed
- Change "Minimum" value to 40547.
- Change "Major unit:" value to 7.

- Click "Alignment"
- Change "Text direction:" to Rotate all text 270
- Click Close
Setting up the legend
- Left click text "Start date" in legend
- Delete
- Right click on chart
- Click "Select Data"
- Click "Duration"
- Click Edit

- Change "Series name:" to Sheet4!$A$1 (Activity)
- Click OK!
Download excel 2007 *.xlsx file
